Truly Unique, Rare and beautiful Australian furniture, LOCALLY MADE, HANDCRAFTED WITH LOVE!

At Rod Murray’s we have earned a reputation in fine craftsmanship, designing and making magnificent and timeless furniture for over 20 years, first wholesaling, then showcasing it direct to the public at the Rod Murray Gallery which has been going now for 14 years.

Using aged, reclaimed Australian Hardwoods, and “fairdinkum” workmanship, we keep the integrity and character of the wood, and “keep the trees alive” by turning them into heirlooms which bring warmth and value to any home, country or modern.

We handcraft our furniture with old fashion integrity and time proven cabinet making techniques, which have kept our happy, loyal customers coming back over the years, to add to their collection. Each piece is individually made, not mass produced. The Rod Murray team have been involved in many interesting commissioned projects over the years, both for our local customers, as well as all over the world, from Iceland to Thailand, the U.S. and the U.K., and have recently been commissioned to handcraft a 4.5 meter slab table which will find its home in Miami, and a 5.5 meter slab table, for a customer who is buying the house to fit the table!

Only 20 min from Gosford, the Rod Murray Gallery (best kept secret on the Coast), is located at the iconic Old Oak Milkbar site, at the Peats Ridge Village, Peats Ridge Road, PEATS RIDGE. It’s a beautiful scenic drive to the quaint village with a café, chinese restaurant, hairdresser, etc; when you come to the Big Barn type building let yourself be surprised by the quality and versatility of the furniture pieces, the giftware range, cowhides, cowhide stools, art, and much more. Indulge in the old fashioned customer service; at the Rod Murray Gallery you will never feel like you’re imposing, whether you come to buy or to just say Hi!

We look forward to seeing you soon.
